First offs, I want to say thank you to a few of you for shooting me the birthday emails and phone calls; I had a blast and appreciate it all, greatly. Now on with the show…
The last two weeks I have been juggling a couple of things that I’ve been meaning to release since mid February. First and foremost is an update to the Database Module. This release is not really very significant, I updated quite a few functions and added a new file that contains conversion functions to help a later release when I hope to retire the need to worry about SQL injection.
Secondly I have released the Forms Module. It’s fairly straight forward; an OOP method of handling generation of forms. Although It’s only got remedial error checking, it will evolve as everything else does on this site.
As a final note, I would like to let you know about the new project I have picked up, called DiOxygen which is basically an extension of the idea behind DOxygen. Check the forum out to see whats up and what it will do. Suggestions are more than accepted, they are expected!
Hello, Hello, Hello!
I have been working, slaving, on too many things, but here are the updates that are pertinent.
I quit WAW. The lead and I had a difference in opinion at how something should have been handled and well, I choose the other road. Leaving WAW threw me to the whales and since then I’ve been kicking the utter shit out of the to-do listing I built up on Google. The great thing is that I am feeling great. I am finally sleeping again, after nearly two months of intermittent bouts with insomnia, although I owe that to Advil PM and Benadryl, thank the all powerful being who developed that.

some of you may have noticed that I have made a few updates to the site in the last couple weeks. Well, things are coming together, slowly, but they are none the less. As you may see, Mike is back, and he is going to be taking a larger part in Gneu. Pairing that with the increased traffic that I have seen has caused me to start work on getting Gneu set and ready for our future.
I have begun writing articles for the wiki, which seem to be going pretty well. The wiki itself has begun to flesh out, and there have been a couple users who are taking part and contributing as well. Gneu is evolving. It is finally coming together into the entity that it was intended to be.

Yesterday, an unfortunate discovery lead to an unfortunate mishap lead which lead to a great discovery and later to another unfortunate mishap. The initial mishap was indeed as terrible as you would have thought, and in some ways it shows how important it is to put proper error checking into your website, and in others it is showing how a user interacting with a website can quickly join the statistic of people who have no ability to use your application and say its too hard. You may be wondering what happened to my site yesterday between 5pm and 10pm, and if you are, be calmed in knowing that it was entirely my fault and I have been working on a few steps to help avoid that in the future. I deleted my database.

Yesterday I had a billion things to do, but today is going to be launch of version 1.0 of my app. The current state is not the best but it works out well enough that I’m willing to hand it out to the community and get some input. If all goes well ill start working on the C++ version of the app and everything will be 10x more fun. Currently if you are interested in playing around with it you need to have the .net 2.0 runtimes installed and working and a mod.
I’m going to put some work into the localization UI and try to figure out why its irritating me so much. Ill be in touch a little later, expect a link to a .RAR a little later.
